The only doctor licensed to perform the Ring Dinger® in mid-michigan and Metro-Detroit.
Dr. Zimmerman is certified in the renowned Ring Dinger® Y-Axis Spinal Decompression technique, a powerful approach for patients struggling with herniated or bulging discs, vertebral misalignments, or persistent back and neck pain.
Instead of turning to injections, surgery, or long-term medications, many people have found lasting relief through this precise, hands-on decompression method. Each session begins with a detailed consultation that includes thorough health history, followed by a neurological and orthopedic assessment to ensure every patient is a safe and suitable candidate. Please read above for potential reasons a person may not be treated.
During the treatment, gentle, swift traction is applied along the spine’s natural Y-axis, creating space between the vertebrae and easing pressure on the nerves and discs. Because gravity constantly compresses the spine, this movement allows it to fully decompress – often for the first time ever. Restoring that space supports better circulation of oxygen and nutrient-rich fluid to the discs, helping the spine recover and function at its best.
At Sport + Spine, we perform this adjustment exactly as we were trained under the technique’s founder, Dr. Gregory Johnson, maintaining the precision and authenticity that make the Ring Dinger® so effective.
